Of course, those who fail the chairman don’t get off lightly. We see his kurohukus bust out a burning contraption, almost like a giant barbecue pit. Add coal, light on fire, add water to cool it down somewhat, and have the failure place his forehead, hands and knees on the burning surface.
One of the Chairman’s previous underlings gets pwned after he fails him
Tonegawa lasts for a little over 12 seconds. Kaiji cannot believe what he is seeing. He even seems to pity Tonegawa (maybe a little) and realizes that the real murderer of Sahara and everyone was the Chairman himself.
He thanks the peanut gallery (and they thank him in return) for everything. Kaiji almost loses too much blood so he needs first aid. As they leave THE MENS ROOM, Kaiji can’t take his eyes away from a crushed tissue box left behind after the peanut gallery was cleaning up the blood from his severed ear…
