It’s time to du-du-du-du-duel!
Rating: 8.5 red land cards out of 10.
This episode felt like more of an episode that sets the stage for the next one. Kaiji plays E Card against Tonegawa in the hopes of a shot at getting himself out of debt.
There are three cards: citizen, emperor and slave. There are eight citizen cards and one each of slave and emperor. Each player gets four citizens and either the emperor or slave. The players must put their card face down and then reveal it when ready.
If both cards are citizens: tie
If one card is a citizen and the other slave: citizen wins
If one card is a citizen and the other emperor: emperor wins
If one card is a slave and the other emperor: slave wins
Of course there is a risk of Kaiji losing the use of one of his ears. OOH THE DARMA AND TENSION!

The Emperor can beat the Citizen cards but not the Slave it seems
The E Card game looks to continue next week. Kaiji looks like he will be in for a challenge with a lot on the line.
