More Haruhi references await thee!
Just another one of those satisfactory episodes. Nothing overly hilarious though the part where Konata’s father tries to demonstrate how to trap a mosquito on your arm by flexing it was pretty funny in itself. Tsukasa’s face looks hilarious every time she is listening in on Konata and Kagami as her eyes are just dots. Oh, they made a balsamic vinegar reference again, so that’s another minor win.
Blatant Haruhi references #7282401 and 7282402 = a “TV ad” that Kagami and Tsukasa see featuring Haruhi promoting some Haruhi-brand cola and Ono Daisuke (LOL Koizumi Itzuki) taking the place of Shiraishi during Lucky Channel. Speaking of which, they did practically nothing other than introduce themselves and not make any effort to check up on Shiraishi’s trip to the forests outside Mt. Fuji, where people apparently dump garbage and dead bodies.
The ED makes up for the rest of the episode as it is another WTFLOL song sung by Shiraishi.
Rating: 7.5 excessive references to previous Kyoto Animation works out of 10.
